Profile

Simon Brown is a graduate of the American Film Institute (AFI) Conservatory directing program and an alum of Berlinale Talents.

His latest short film Picture Girl premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh 2025, and he is currently in production on his debut feature Lightborn, an art-house sci-fi.

Simon’s earlier work includes the student Emmy finalist Firelight, the sci-fi short Traveler (1.5M+ views on YouTube, finalist at the Kinsale Sharks), the experimental film Fearless (exhibited at Damer House Gallery), and the spec spot Lexus LFA-h (featured in Stash).
